Danny D, also known as the English Giant, was a famous giant who lived in England during the 18th century.

Born near Lincolnshire in 1715, Danny D was said to have been a whopping 8 feet 5 inches tall. He was described as a "gentle giant" and had a kind, cheerful personality. He was known to be generous and he often gave away money to those in need.

Throughout his life, Danny D was a popular attraction and traveled around England, Scotland, and Ireland. He was said to be a good listener and he would often talk to those who visited him. He was also known to be a bit of a showman and he would often perform tricks and stunts for the crowds.

Danny D's popularity was so great that, after his death, his skeleton was put on display in the town. The skeleton was later moved to the Anatomy Museum at the University of Cambridge, where it is still on display today.
